Artifacts
Project artifacts and documents will appear here.
AI Providers
Configure your AI providers. Bring your own API keys (BYOK).
Structured Debate
Advocate vs Critic — multi-round debate with AI judge.
Goals
Per-project goals. Track what each project is trying to accomplish.
Global Rules
Durable user-wide rules injected into every chat. The model treats these as hard constraints.
Secrets
Credentials the agent has stored on your behalf, encrypted at rest. Values are sealed and never shown. The agent adds these in chat when a task needs them — you don't manage them here. Revoke any one to force it to ask again.
Optimizer
Suggestions for tuning your setup. Accept, reject, or execute each.
Background Jobs
Async one-shot queries that run while you keep working. Toggle "BG" on a chat message to submit here instead of streaming.
Backups
Read-only status: Cloud SQL database backups, GCS workspace versioning, and latest snapshot.
ThoughtzAI Tools
A preloaded toolkit so the agent can read and convert your files. When this add-in is on, your chats run with these installed — just attach a file and ask. No setup, nothing to install.
Custom Workspace (was "Full Power")
Your own growable workspace. The agent can install anything it needs (apt, pip, npm) and it persists across sessions — your own private machine, isolated from everyone else. On Enterprise this same box appears as Managed Workspace (admin-governed toolset).
My Mac — Live (was "Remote FS")
Let the AI read files LIVE from your own machine over a private tunnel. Your files stay on your machine — nothing is ever copied to the cloud. The privacy-preserving opposite of My Mac — Synced.
Environment
What's configured, what's up, and how many — across your machines and the VM tiers.
Workspace Priority
Where new chats look first — the agent uses the highest one that's available, unless you say otherwise. Drag to reorder.
Add-ins
Manage which features appear as tabs.
My Mac — Synced (was "File Sync")
Mac daemon pushes workspace files to SaaS (a cloud copy is kept). Every overwrite or delete goes to .trash/ first — recoverable from the Trash section below.
Sync tokens
Long-lived secret used by the Mac ct-sync daemon. Plaintext shown once — copy immediately.
Project selection
Per-device. Toggle a project ON to let this Mac push it. Default is OFF — generating a token never starts a mass upload until you opt in. Turning a project OFF leaves existing remote files untouched (recover via Trash if needed).
Daemon status
Last heartbeat per project. Daemon also exposes http://localhost:8423/status on the Mac.
Trash
Pick a project to see its trashed files. Sync-driven overwrites and deletes land here for 30 days.
Install agent
- Click Generate token above and copy it.
- Download the installer for your OS below and double-click it.
- The CTSync icon appears in your menu bar (top-right on macOS). Click it and paste your token when prompted.
